A Note from Rick Corwon

Sweet Summertime

Remember busting through the doors on the last day of school? Time for freedom…friends, outdoor activities, graduation and other parties, family vacation, and much more. We could focus not just on what we wanted but what we needed: A healthy reset.

Today the pressures on you, our clients, are relentless. You have to ensure your hospital is ready for the next global security threat. You and your team are up at night with endless application updates, hardware system upgrades, disaster recovery testing, support tickets for backups, and much more.

You face budget deadlines, board presentations, and pressures from your CFO to reduce costs. The pleasant summer nostalgia feels like a distant fiction.

With this juxtaposition, we invite you to talk further with CloudWave.

What if your disaster recovery environment was automated and tested annually like clockwork? What if you transitioned to a full or hybrid cloud with embedded 24×7 proactive monitoring and support? What if you didn’t have backup support tickets open and fewer angry data center escalations every week? What if your budget was predictable, with far less capital and lower overall total costs? What if your team had less overtime and red-eye Windows patching sessions? And perhaps most critically, what if you had a comprehensive security platform to mitigate that whole mountain of risks?

Solving these problems is a central theme of our solutions at CloudWave. We can save you time. Our scale can save you money. We can free you up for other leadership responsibilities that are often much more strategic and fun.

It doesn’t matter if you operate a large or small organization, are public or private, have an experienced or young team, or which continent you reside on. Let us free you up. Then maybe you can once again bust open those doors and make the rest of your summer and beyond much more enjoyable!

Utilizing the proven CloudCare+ patch maintenance strategy, healthcare enterprises can prevent cyberattacks, as well as performance slowdowns and regulatory compliance issues.

CloudCare+ solves these challenges with a skilled service team that utilizes a proven process throughout the entire patching cycle. This enables healthcare IT teams to take a hands-off approach to maintenance while CloudWave keeps the environment compliant and secured against cyber threats.

Advance Authorization Now Available

CloudWave is pleased to offer a new way to streamline the way we deliver changes to your OpSus Cloud Services. Delaying the implementation of service change requests while waiting on a signature can delay addressing small issues that can lead to bigger problems.

CloudWave is now able to provide a way for our cloud customers to mitigate the administrative burden of these requests by allowing key personnel to pre-approve routine change orders. One signature enables the smooth and timely execution of routine changes and minor updates.

Contact your Customer Success Manager or Sales Director to learn more.

Meet Travis Campbell
Compliance and Technical Documentation Manager

Many CloudWave employees have spent their careers in healthcare IT.

As CloudWave’s Compliance and Technical Documentation Manager, Travis is another member of the CloudWave team working towards better customer security. He believes the issues regarding compliance, privacy, and data are becoming more immediate and complex.

“The landscape in healthcare IT is always changing, and the evolution of threats our customers face is constantly at the forefront of our minds.” Travis expressed.

Having first worked in IT in the Army and federal government, he joined the business world when working for a software company in the DC area. Travis enjoys the exposure to both the technical and business aspects by being involved in multiple and diverse projects, service modernizations, and business operational improvements. He explained that hosting providers, particularly CloudWave, has been the most challenging and rewarding businesses to grow with.

When asked what he likes most about working in health care?

“Healthcare facilities are the underdog. They are constantly battling budget priorities and evolving technical requirements while maintaining access to health services for their local populations. I believe helping the underdog is extremely rewarding.”
